Instructions for private lessons
Welcome to swim with FitPit!
When you arrive for private lessons at a private swimming pool, you can arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled lesson time. When you arrive for private lessons at a public swimming pool, you will meet the swim instructor in front of the lifeguard's office. Please make sure to shower thoroughly with soap before and after swimming.
Please note that if the private lesson is held at the city swimming pool, you will need to pay the entrance fee separately at the front desk. In the private swimming pools used by FitPit, you do not have to pay a separate entrance fee.
Absences from private lessons
In private lessons, it is important to notify any absences promptly by email to the address asiakaspalvelu@fitpit.fi. You can find more detailed information about the cancellation policy for private lessons here.

Pack your swimwear, a towel, and swimming goggles for private swimming lessons. Good swim goggles are a crucial part of a successful swimming experience. If you prefer, you can also use a swim cap or bring other swimming equipment with you.

When you have booked customized private lessons via email, please verify the agreed-upon dates and locations for swimming instruction in the email conversation; a separate confirmation message will not be sent.

If you have enrolled a child in private lessons who is not yet able to use the changing room independently, an adult can help the child in the shower area with their clothes on, but without wearing shoes or socks, or indoor footwear. The changing room should be chosen based on the escort's gender.
Additionally, an adult can accompany the child to the pool area to the swimming instructor. After the swim, the adult can pick up the child from the pool.

Ilkantie 4, 00401 HelsinkiEntrance to Valkea talo is through the inner courtyard located in the center of the building, using door C. Please leave your shoes in the hallway and proceed down the corridor. Turn left into the corridor, where you'll find the changing rooms for both women and men. Access to the pool is through the shower area.
Free parking is available on the adjacent parking lot on weekends.

After the stairs, continue to the left and enter through the door with the code you received in your course reservation confirmation. Go straight and on the left, you will find a hallway with changing rooms for women and men.
Kauniala Hospital offers free parking spaces with a parking disc.

Kilo Swimming Hall
Kutojantie 2E, 02630 EspooAccess to Kilo Swimming Hall is through Kutojankulma, where you turn next to the 95 petrol station. At the corner, you will see a sign for Kutojantie 2E. Turn right at the sign and then immediately turn left. Continue driving around the parking lot (almost 360° turn) until you reach the top.
The parking area will be in front of you and the entrance to the swimming hall is through the corner of the single-story building in front of you, which has a sign that reads Kilo Swimming Hall and FitPit.

You can access the swimming pool from the vestibule through the door immediately on the right, with the same door code, and down the stairs one floor. Next to the swimming pool, you will find a corridor with both women's and men's changing rooms.
Free parking is available in the yard and along the road.

To the right of the pool, on the adjacent corridor, you will find the women's locker room. Continuing straight down the corridor, you will find the men's locker room in the lobby area, around the left corner.
Free parking spaces can be found on the other side of the road at the ice rink's parking lot (Pohjoinen Stadiontie, 4 hours parking with a parking disc) and at the end of Lääkärinkatu, next to Laakso Hospital. The parking lot at the Validia building is chargeable during evenings and weekends.
