Privacy statement

At FitPit Ltd we appreciate our customers privacy and we are committed to protecting it in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation. With this privacy statement we inform our customers about the processing of their personal data. In order to be able to utilize the services provided by FitPit Ltd, the customer must accept the terms provided in this privacy statement.

3.0 What information is collected

3.1 The information provided by the customer (or a person authorized by the customer)

3.1.2 Contact information (address, E-mail address and telephone number)
3.1.3 Billing information
3.1.4 Contact information of a relative in case of emergency situations
3.1.5 Health information that affects the service provided

3.2 Information collected from the use and for the use of various services
3.2.1 Purchase history
3.2.2 Feedback on the service
3.2.3 Delivery information (form of delivery and delivery address)
3.2.4 Identification information such as a RFID-identifier and the associated personal identifier

It is compulsory to provide FitPit with the information mentioned above in order to be able to do business with FitPit and utilize our services. The principal source of information is the information provided by the customer themselves, in addition to which we may get more information from our partners.

4.0 What my information is used for

4.1 Personal information is used
4.1.1 To produce quality sports service for our customers
4.1.2 To enable purpose-built, personal customer service for both private and corporate customers
4.1.3 To provide safe well-being services for our customers
4.1.4 For maintaining customer relationships with private and corporate customers
4.1.5 For the marketing and sales of FitPit’s services
4.1.6 For the development of FitPit’s activities and services
4.1.7 For billing

4.2 Information is processed in the customer relationship between the customer and to provide services based on the customer’s separate express of consent or for legal obligations.

5.0 How my information is protected and preserved

All personal information is protected from unauthorized access and accidental or unlawful destruction, disclosure, transfer or other unlawful processing of data. FitPit Ltd preserves the customer information within the EU area. The technical security of the systems and servers follows good security practices. The servers are protected against hacking and denial of service attacks.

We follow good data protection practices in the processing of personal data and technical solutions. All access to personal data is controlled in accordance with good practice.

6.0 Who processes my information

Access to customer information data is only provided to FitPit’s own employees that are involved in the provision of services. The employees are instructed and trained to use the information with safety. 
As needed, we use trusted contract partners, such as when reserving sports facilities and collecting attendance information, which allows the information to be transferred to a third party. The requirements of the EU Data Protection Regulation have been taken into account with all partners.

7.0 Preserving information

We preserve your personal information only for the needed time period, so that we can fulfill the uses described in this leaflet. In addition, some information may be retained longer to the extent necessary to fulfill statutory obligations, such as accounting and consumer trade responsibilities, and to demonstrate their proper implementation.

At the customer’s request personal information about them may be deleted from FitPit’s systems. The deletion is irrevocable and we cannot recover deleted personal information.

8.0 Customer rights

8.1 The customer has the rights to the following
8.1.1 Get a copy of the personal information
8.1.2 Request for the rectification or deletion of personal information
8.1.3 Under certain conditions, request a restriction on processing or object to the processing of personal data.

In addition, if the processing is based on a separate consent, the customer has a chance to withdraw their consent. However, this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent. You can change your consent by being intouch with us. The request must be sufficiently identified for us to verify your identity. We will notify you if we are unable to comply with your request in some respects, such as deleting any information we retain a legal obligation or right to retain.

10. Disclosure of information to third parties

We can disclose the necessary information needed with third parties to insure correct and high quality services and for marketing. If necessary we will disclose information with the authorities as well. We will inform the customer about the request of information if it is permitted by law.

10.1 We disclose information to the following third parties in the following situations
10.1.1 Billing information for financial management
10.1.2 To the collection company, when invoices fall due and move to collection
10.1.3 When paying with a payment card (for example Smartum, Visa, Mastercard)
10.1.4 To the lender, when the customer chooses the credit company’s invoice or installment as the method or payment
10.1.5 To the producer of the service when it is someone else, such as one of our partners
10.1.6 Depending on the location of the sports service or event, to the party managing the sports facilities or event for access control and statistics

FitPit Ltd ensures a high level of data security and protection when transferring and processing data in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation.

11.0 Amending the privacy statement

Due to the development of the services and changes in legislation, we reserve the rights to change the privacy statement. Significant changes to the privacy statement will be notified to registered customers when the terms are updated.
