Welcome to the Pop up swimming school! Please pack a swimsuit (swimsuit, swim trunks, or burkini), a towel, and swim goggles if you have them.
General instructions for Pop up swimming schools
Arrival at the swimming hall
It’s recommended to arrive at the swimming hall about 15 minutes before the start of the swimming school. You should only enter the swimming area once your lesson begins. Please leave the premises within 15 minutes of the lesson ending.
We kindly ask that you consider other customers of the swimming hall. For safety reasons, children must listen to the swimming instructor throughout the lesson and should not leave the swimming area by themselves during the lesson.
Use of changing rooms
An adult may escort a child to the changing room and assist them in the shower area while still dressed, but without shoes/socks or indoor shoes. If an adult helps a child in the changing room, the changing room should be selected according to the escort’s gender. Children over 7 years old should independently use the changing room designated for their gender.
The child must wash thoroughly with soap before and after swimming. Children with long hair should tie it up with a hair tie or use a swimming cap. It’s also a good idea for the child to visit the bathroom before the swimming school begins, and heavy meals right before the lesson should be avoided.
Swimming lessons at beaches during the summer season
During the summer season, in swimming lessons held at beaches, the guardian is responsible for the child's safety throughout the entire lesson. The guardian must remain at the beach for the duration of the swimming lesson, and the child cannot be left solely under the instructor's supervision. The swimming instructor is responsible for the teaching, but the child's safety remains the guardian’s responsibility at all times. A child cannot participate in the swimming lesson if the guardian is not present to supervise.
